FYI upcoming season

Here's an update of the timeline for Fall 2008 Season:

* On-line registration will begin on or around July 15th. Players who register during the early registration period will still get the $5.00 discount. Early registration will last through July 20th.

* If you wish to change your team name, you need to email me before on-line registration begins (meaning, in the next week or so). We will not allow team name changes once registration is underway.

* In-person registration is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, July 27th in the MRSC conference room from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. Exact date and time will be published shortly.

* The schedule request form will be available shortly, and is due for all teams by Sunday, August 10th. Sooner is better. If you are changing JERSEY COLORS before next season (either primary or alternate), please include this information in your schedule request form. Deadline for all jersey color changes is also Sunday, August 10th, so that they can be included with the schedule.

* Schedule will be published on or around August 15th.

* All players must be registered by 11:59 pm on Monday, August 11th to be eligible for their team's first match. Late registration will continue beyond that date with the standard late fee. Anyone missing the first game will go into the first weekly group of player adds, which will be process on August 27th to be eligible for August 31st. Additional adds will follow the weekly Wednesday-to-Sunday schedule through the first six weeks of the season. Roster freeze is Wednesday, October 1st.

* Men's season will begin either Thursday or Sunday, August 21st or 24th. Coed season will begin on Tuesday, August 26th.

* Note: We are likely to return this year to playing a full schedule of men's games on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend (which this year, is Sunday, August 31st). These games will likely be later-evening (5:30/7:30) matches in consideration of potential issues with heat.
